Vancouver Working Group
▼Previous Meetings
The 22-member Vancouver Working Group (VWG) met 12 times between January 2009
and July 2009, and once in 2010, to advise on light rail design through downtown
Vancouver to Clark College. The VWG brought together local residents, business
owners, transit-dependent populations and commuters interested in light rail
planning in Vancouver.
The group helped shape the project’s transit element by recommending a light
rail route and locations for stations and park and rides. Recommendations of the
VWG were considered by the Vancouver City Council, as well as the C-TRAN Board
of Directors in the spring of 2010.
